Mr. Jurewicz's Blog Connecting Parents to the Classroom 

With the first month under our belt I believe we are finally ready to welcome in volunteers.  In the K rooms we have parents volunteer by coming in and pulling students to work on reading skills on an individual basis.  This starts with flash cards and then branches out into reading books with them.  If you are interested/able to sign up I am including a sign up attachment.  Please email me a couple of times that fit your schedule and I will do my best to accommodate.  If you are unable to volunteer please don’t feel pressure.  Many parents cannot make it for these times, due to work, and there will be other times for parents to come in during parties.

We had our first library visit yesterday and the students should have brought home a book.  Please send the book back every Monday to ensure they can get a new book.

Another side note is please send your child’s behavior calendar back each day to make sure they can mark it.  You can just leave it right in the back of their folder.
